- Mace is naturally protected from environmental toxins and pesticides as it is enveloped by a layer of fruit around it. Our Ernakulam mace is locally grown and is delicately handpicked and usually sun dried with utmost care. Due to monsoon rain in Kerala, the current batch of Mace is oven-dried.
- Mace contains a variety of nutrients such as copper, vitamin B6, calcium and dietary fibers. A tea made from a mixture of nutmeg mace and cream is often prescribed by doctors in improving digestive health and relieves indigestion and stomach ulcers.
